Continuous Infusion of Peripheral Nerves with Local Anesthetic

Occasionally, neuropathic pain in an extremity is unresponsive to treatment, including sympathetic injections. In these cases, we can proceed to placing a catheter in the sheath, which holds the nerve and continually infusing local anesthetic for a period of up to 10 days.

If this therapy works, but provides only temporary relief, we can proceed to peripheral nerve stimulation.

At Pacific Coast Pain Management Center, Dr. Helm, and associates will use contemporary techniques to diagnose and treat your pain. If you live in the Laguna Hills or greater Orange County area, call today to schedule your consultation with one of our specialists.
